Back in July, Matt and I went to San Diego and I have yet to post about the trip but thought I’d share some photos until I can get around to writing a recap post.
{Gaslamp Quarter}
{Flatbreads at barley mash. Our favorite spot of the trip}
{View of Petco Park from our hotel’s roofdeck}
{Iron Fries: “The Far East Side” pork belly, grilled chicken, teriyaki sauce, green onions, celery, house made kimchi!, wasabi cream and toasted cashews… in other words, YES YES YES!}
{Harborside sunset}
{Granola waffle = lovely all day foodbaby}
{Tim Burton’s Electrifying Graden (temporary exhibit for Comic-Con 2012}
Granola waffle? So good! Perhaps needs some melting peanut butter though...
ReplyDeleteI was actually drawn to this restaurant because I had read they had peanut butter waffles (topped with bananas!) but when we arrived, they only had pancakes topped with peanut butter and bananas and I wasn't feeling pancakes. So yes, peanut butter would most definitely have been a welcome addition!
DeleteSadly, I have never been to San Diego. these photos are enticing me! P.S. Both Toro and Coppa would be amazing for a birthday dinner, you can't go wrong with either....
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Though I've been wanting to try that corn for years now... I'll post the decision.
